About Me

Welcome to my website, which is simply a channel to report my progress with my new found hobby..... Astronomy.

As a total newbie to the past-time, I hope to highlight the issues that have arisen during my learning experience (which is still going on!!!!! BTW), which might be of assistance to those who wish to take up Astronomy in the future.

During my investigations over the last number of months, one thing is certain... there is a wealth of information out there for the "would be" Astronomer on the "World wide interWeb!!"and with this in mind, I have availed of the expert knowledge and opinions of members of the Deise Astronomy Society and I.F.A.S. website forum regarding techniques and equipment.

Anyway, if you are new to astronomy, like me, I am sure it will become a past-time that will be both an excellent learning experience as well as a highly rewarding hobby.
