Wallpapers

I suppose that this part of the site should really be called Artwork or Graphics, however, please feel free to download any of the images below to use as Wallpaper etc. While these are not necessarily Astronomy related, they have been inspired by the architecture of astronomy aware societies (i.e. the Aztecs, Mayans and Egyptians), a bit of Sci-Fi and of course the part that Time plays in the overall scheme of things. The following images were created using Corel Draw, Bryce and processed using Adobe PhotoShop.

Clocks
The clock faces were created in Corel Draw and mapped onto a 2D lattice in Bryce. The clock objects were then created in Bryce using Boolean 3D Shapes and saved as Object files. The landscape was also created in Bryce, where the scene was assembled. Final processing in Adobe Photoshop.	800 X 600 1024 X 768 1280 X 1024

Time
I used one of the clocks from the above scene for this image and as before created the landscape in Bryce. The brick effect was created in Adobe Photoshop, which also was used for the final processing of this image.	800 X 600 1024 X 768 1280 X 1024

Crash
The spaceship was created using boolean objects in Bryce and then saved as an object file. The landscape again was created in Bryce, with final processing completed using Adobe Photoshop.	800 X 600 1024 X 768 1280 X 1024

Chess
I'm not really a chess player, however, I thought this might make an interesting image. The chess pieces were created using boolean objects in Bryce, as was the seascape. I used a raster version of one of the clocks and distorted it before blending it into the final image with Photoshop.	800 X 600 1024 X 768 1280 X 1024

Mayan Landscape
This image was the result of not being able to find prints that matched the colour scheme of the house. So I decided to create my own prints and get them printed out in A2 size. Created in Bryce and processed in Photoshop.	800 X 600 1024 X 768 1280 X 1024

Egyptian Landscape
As with the image above, the real version of this image is hanging on a wall at home A2 in size. This was created for the same reasons as the previous image, and they are still there!!!! Another Bryce Landscape.	800 X 600 1024 X 768 1280 X 1024
